Mt Fuji & Kyoto

We set off from the car at 10pm on our accent of the 3776m Mt Fuji. Sunrise was at 4.30am and our target was to be at the sumit in time to see it. There is a well marked path all the way to the top, but it was harder work than we anticipated…

We made it to the sumit a while later, with the additional burden of the suns heat to contend with we were absolutely knackered.

We then drove to Kyoto and had a wander around the town looking at some of the many impressive temples and stopped for dinner in a sushi bar.
